Vehicle Parts Induction Operative

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team within one of the UK’s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and parts recyclers based in Thame, Oxford.

Key duties

• The role will require you to list parts from accident-damaged vehicles, inputting the parts into our computer system using a tablet pc.
• You will be checking export engines, getting vehicles started and videoing them running.
• This role requires good attention to detail and to be able to follow specific processes and procedures.
• The successful applicant must be reliable, enthusiastic, conscientious and be comfortable working in a very busy, fast-moving environment.

Key skills

The essential qualities required for the role include:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow processes and procedures
• Working knowledge of motor vehicles
• Forklift driving experience (desirable but not essential)
• Must have basic computer skills

Rate of pay

Good salary, depending on experience, to be reviewed once the 3-month probationary period has been successfully completed. Plus, upon successful completion eligibility for a discretional monthly bonus and petrol allowance.

This role is based outside on a concrete holding area.
